Never Too Small

The intent to LOVE makes you GREAT! I believe it's not what you do, but the purpose behind why you do it.

In my past work experiences I have always gravitated toward social services jobs, but without an understanding of why. I have been a teacher, counselor, mentor, and more-but was I living my purpose? It took me a while to understand why life took me down this path-it is my nature.

If the purpose behind your work is to express love then it can never be too small. If it is who you are being expressed then what you are doing is making a great impact.

I've discovered that more responsibility does not equal bigger value. For instance, Obama is not bigger in love because he is the president- it is the purpose behind what he intends to do (change the world) that makes his contribution great. However, if you are just a student, or a stay at home mom, if it is what you love- your purpose, it is just as valuable.

I had to come to this realization for myself because I had an underline belief that what I was contributing wasn't good enough. Thank God for personal growth and continuing. Now I know that it is love and my giving of it that makes my contribution to the world great. I am loving myself, loving my daughter, loving her father, loving blogging, and I am loving all this on PURPOSE.
