I love having a destination. Since I was a young girl I have always been on the move-awaiting life and wanting to find out what lies behind the corner. Since becoming a new mom I'm fascinated as my now 7 month old daughter is crawling and learning how to climb. Wow! was I that fearless and full of tenacity. My mother says yes, as I am always calling her to report my amazement with her granddaughter and to reminiscence on my childhood days. My mother always reminds me of how quick I learned to walk and run, and I think to myself if Jazzy (my daughter's nickname) is anything like me (and hopefully she will be better) than I'm in for a workout. But miraculously I find strength and energy to be an attentive and I like to think "good mom". Even though this is new to me, I'm loving the learning experience and better-the opportunity to come up with a new vision. Yes! I believe in having a vision-something to strive for in every area of my life. I love to feel inspired and my vision gives me a feeling of purpose and focus. Where do I want to go? My dreams and hopes awaits me. I don't necessarily know how I'm going to get there (unless I sense a strong intuitive guidance) but I do have a direction and therefore a purpose. I recommend writing down a vision statement for 7 areas of life.
- Spiritual vision
- Business or work vision
- Family vision
- Financial vision
- Health vision
- Personal vision
- Purpose or life vision
Now once you have the vision it is important to affirm it to yourself and then strive until you reach it. Note: This is a positive experience that aligns with your heart's desires.
