Matters of The Heart

Have you ever heard of a vision board? A place to make dreams visual and remind yourself of what lies beneath your heart-to have a glimpse of your future. I created a vision journal in 2007 and titled it Matters of The Heart. I was looking at my journal (after not looking at it since becoming pregnant in 2008) and found an amazing discovery-about 80% of what I had envisioned was achieved. Even better, I had received gifts that I hadn't even asked for- what I call "dreams within dreams"- the stuff you don't know to ask for but align with your heart's truth.

If you want to give yourself a gift I suggest creating a vision board. Then be open to receive all the good that is in store for you. Trust me! IF YOU DARE TO DREAM BIG- you will get more than you expected and it will align with your heart's desires.

So now what?

When I've received 80% of what I asked for. First, I smile, then say thank you to life for these experiences, then I search my heart again for deeper levels of joy and fulfillment. Now, being a stay at home mom has given me joy and purpose, but there's more within me. My new affirmation is "I work a job I love and learn the skills necessary to grow into my vision". I'm going to love this new chapter in my journey.
